Cosmopolis is deplorable decadent rubbish. Pattinson was so ill-advised to pursue this project with Cronenberg. Pattinson has previously revealed that he had not been apprised prior on amount of sex simulation in the film. He acquiesced to Cronenberg's somewhat sudden no warning directions, which prompted Pattinson to feel a bit like a male prostitute afterward. Pattinson has wondered elsewhere why anyone would want to see Cosmopolis apart from seeing him.
