For those who think Hathaway won't be great, just remember that there were more people complaining about Heath Ledger as the Joker months before the second film came out than those who were supportive of the casting. I remember reading very nasty comments about him and many made awful (immature) statements referencing Brokeback Mountain. Now look! Ledger's portrayal is legendary. Rises isn't out yet and I reckon Hathaway will be amazing. Even if she doesn't bring a Ledger-like performance, I reckon she'll be a nasty piece of work.
I guess that saying is true that if a bunch of people are not hating on you, then you are doing something wrong. Anne is beautiful, talented, and successful.....
