So the writer of this article assumed the only black character on the show must be a maid (even though she is clearly established on the show as Don's secretary), then when commenters called her out for it she fixed it but also posted fake comments defending herself and attacking those who pointed out she was wrong. Really, really sad, and more than a little racist.
I don't get how Christina Dowling could possibly have mistaken Dawn for a cleaning lady if she actually watched the episode (which I would assume she must have in order to write about it). In her one short scene this week, she and Peggy discussed the fact that Peggy also started out as Don's secretary, just like her. Last week's.....

I really liked how they brought back Ken Cosgrove's writing this season, especially during such a pivotal moment on the show. He's really like the Nick Carraway of "Mad Men," I would like to see more of his insights and perspective. Pete might go down the same path as Don, this episode was so pivotal for his character. Everything was boiling up to some sort of feud for Pete. As for Don I think he's going to realize better, more virtuous pursuits and leave the advertising agency with Megan.
I love than ken is writing, and I hope the writers, continue this story line.t would be nice to have him * or his book; as the insight to the mens character. In fact, I can see this as a beginning to the .....

I'm pretty sure Megan will end up being the french girl in the ad for one of Don's clients. I remember Don's client asking for that a few episodes back.
I can't stand Megan. She needs to be gone, and soon! Roger and Sally were awesome except for, you know, the end part. Anyway, I don't like Megan and Don. I just don't.
I LOVED this episode. I have really disliked Megan all along but last night I warmed up to her and daresay, LIKED her. It was the first time they haven't written her in the extremes * there was balance in her characteristics and she sold it. Loved Roger, loved Sally, loved how Pete schooled Emile, loved how Megan singlehandedly saved the Heinz account from start to finish, l.....

Its funny that the code that I had to enter to submit this comment was 'animal' because thats what most of the men at SCP are. Poor Joan. And Campbell was at his worst. At least DOn had an ounce of decency. I love Peggy and Im glad she left. She got no respect. Don kissing her hand was heartfelt and sad. A disturbing, sad episode of Mad Men.
Very disturbing episode. Too bad Joan had to get her partnership the old-fashioned way--by sleeping her way to the top, so to speak. While Peggy's brains got her nowhere in the agency. Peggy was terribly under-utilized this season, with way too much emphasis on Megan, Megan, and more Megan. Megan is not an interesting enough character, and the actress po.....

It was hilarious when Lane tried to use the Jaguar to off himself it wouldn't start. Don Draper lacks empathy and is often unaware of the carnage his actions cause.
Dudes, Lane embezzled from the company. Don was right: he had no reason to believe he could trust Lane. If that were to happen in a real life situation, there is no way an employer would just "be understanding". Don was empathetic when he assured Lane this would be a new start for him. Don was as kind as he could have been in that situation, by allowing him the dignity of resigning, instead of firing him, and offering to cover the money. Lane was just weak. I wish it had been Pete instead.
Its business people. Lane embezzled fr.....

Favorite scene: Pete getting punched out TWICE in five minutes! Second favorite scene: Don walking away in the dark from Megan's set to the tune of "You Only Live Twice". I swear he looked like James Bond! Third favorite scene: The bar. Will he or won't he? Of course Don didn't want to go to a dentist. He might cross * check his dental records and find out he's an imposter! That's another sword hanging over him and us until next season.
Overall I enjoyed the finale interesting how Don and Peggy met in the movie theatre about to watch Casino Royale while the ending is the theme to another Bond movie "You Only Live Twice". I like the fact that there aren't any major "cliff hanger" plots in th.....
