Fabulous Singing By Joshua And Jessica In American Idol Last Night

I agree with True Artists. Vote for Colton and Phil. Joshua is amazing too. Jessica just seems like one of many similar voices. Maybe it is her attitude, but for some reason I'm not sure if she has as nice a personality as some of the others. I just don't "click" with her. I loved Skylar and Colton tonight. They had the best chemistry as a duet and I really loved both of their songs. Skylar's gave me goose bumps and brought tears to my eyes. Very moving performance for me. I just smiled all the way through Colton's performance. I really like Hollie's voice better than some of the rest even if she does need to work on some things. I liked Phil but he is starting to sound the same to me on al.....

While I do think she has a great voice, I don't really love her song choices or musical style... just not my personal preference. I also think they should have made her sing and based the judging on that particular performance as they say they have in the past. It sounded kinda shaky before they jumped in and saved her. And Randy saying "VOTE FOR THE BEST!" is kinda lame given the title of the show is not American Best. The title "Idol" is relative to the perspective of the listener/viewer and not everyone idolizes her musical style. We can't imagine doing this show without him." so true, AI wouldn't be the same without him, no matter how much we dislike the conspiracy or the votings with contestants. Ryan is also another reason why I watch AI. He inspires me lots, except being the producer of shows like the kardashians show, that's a mistake. Two more years for a show that was supposed to have ended two years ago? Of course they can't do without him because that would mean that none of the original cast made it. I don't know what happened to this video with Ace and Diana since this morning. It was a nice long interview this morning and now it's only a clip about them being naked in Hair. I'm sure they really wanted to talk about Diana's new single, Good Goodbye, that they wrote together. I've got a feeling that two years from now they'll be Mr. and Mrs Young but they're smart for being a little coy about their future plans. When they know it's the right time it'll happen. Do they really have to stand up for Joshua? He is good but give me a break. I find Randy to be a little bias as he is always the first one to stand for Joshua. Nothing like trying to influence the fans votes. Phillip is so overrated. His voice is horrible, he's constantly off pitch, and he looks like he is about to pass out when he sings. He should not be in the competition at this stage. Sure he's cute, but this isn't America's Next Top Model. This was long overdue in my opinion. It definitely should've happen last week. I never got Elise, her style is not popular in this current industry. Maybe 30 years ago with Stevie, but not now. She fade back into obscurity. Jessica will indeed win.   I guess they couldn't let another country singer win. American Idol's lose but Country music's gain. She is a gifted performer and should have stayed but the applies for Elise. If you know who you are you will not win Idol in todays race. That changed with Ms Underwood. I do believe the judges should stick to comments like good job or not so good of a job. They pick their favorites and praise them like there is no one else performing, I do believe this influences the people voting. Joshua killed it tonight. Phillip had his moment. Jessica sang great, but too boaring performance expecially after Joshua. Hollie sounds good and she is improving every week. Iam so mad that Hollie went home, it should've been her and Jessica in the finals. Joshua didn't sing his first song very well, and I feel like he only picked the second one to compete with The Voice. Juliet sang that song much better. Check Out One Of The Best Finale Ever In American Idol

American Idol is losing viewers because people are finally seeing the show for what it is. This is not a singing competition anymore. It's a popularity contest. Their viewers for the FINALE performance show were down significantly compared to last week because one of the two best singers went home. The FINALE episode where we find out who wins it all was the least watched finale because the best singer was not going to win. Duh. People are not dumb. We watch the show for a reason. When you take that reason away, what else would you expect?? I'm actually glad Phillip won. It means this show is a joke and Josh wouldn't have won anyways. So what happened to the experimental treatment we read about previously? Whatever...I am looking forward to seeing Phillip in concert and am glad he is on the mend Get well soon Phillip! I have no idea how he made it through while enduring 8 surgical procedures during the American Idol season. I've been cursed with kidney stones for the last twenty years and they are horribly painful. My heart goes out to the guy, People posted that the surgery took over 6 hours. Adam Lambert will be an excellent judge. He's current; he can sing many different genres of music; he's a brilliant live performer, honest, creative; his comments are always spot on. Though I agree that Adam would be a fabulous judge on AI, he is way to busy with his career. Singing with Queen and promoting his new album Trespassing and touring next year. I don't think he's even got the time to consider it. I love adam,voted for him,bought his music,seen him in concert,and ruined idol for me cuz he was so good. He would make a excellent judge,but I don't think adam will do it because he seems to want to build his own career not a judge. I think it's a good idea to bring Adam. And they sho.....

  Comparing Lambert to Ellen is apples and oranges. Lambert's passion and expertise is music. And more importantly, he is arguably the greatest contestant the show has ever had. He didn't win the show, but everyone knows he was robbed and that he dominated the entire season. In a few years, no one will even remember Kris Allen, but almost everyone will remember Adam Lambert. The real question is, can they judge others and give them constructive criticism. I remember Beyonce being in the show to give advise to the contestants. She talked about how she improved her voice based on her own experiences, but she couldn't point out their problems and how to improve them. I am sure she had the bes.....

There is NO WAY Randy will walk away from that cash cow. What else does he have? Nada. They should get rid of him though, he's dull. You can only hear, You worked it out, dog so many times. I would LOVE for Adam to be a judge. He's already showed that he's great at it and he's not afraid to hurt the contestants feelings by telling them the truth. He also would give them ACTUAL tips to improve. He wouldn't sugercoat things or beat them down unnecessarily. She so deserves it! She can actually sing and better than all the other female judges! Good luck Mariah it will be nerve recking singing in front of a person who's voice is so unbelievebly recognizable in the music buisness.
